Stree

Stree is a horror comedy starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the prominent roles. The movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Vijay Raaz in the supporting roles. Nora Fatehi has a special appearance in the movie. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, this movie has been produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidamoru and Krishna DK.

Stree is based on the on an urban legend, named Nale Ba that took place in Karnataka, according to which, a witch would knock the doors at nights. The witch's voice is similar to that of kin, which makes the residents open doors and once the door is opened by a person, that person dies. Hence Nale Ba, which means come tomorrow was written outside the door, so the witch would come tomorrow and the cycle repeats.

Stree was shot in Chanderi and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. The shoot came to an end with a promotional song filmed in Mumbai.
