Spyder (Malayalam) Story

In Spyder, Mahesh Babu plays a junior level officer in the Intelligent Bureau office. He invents a software which can tap anyone's phone call and sends him alerts when someone is in trouble. One day he receives an alert that a girl is alone in her home and he sends one of his constables to her home to stay with her. But the next morning he comes to know that both the girl and constable were ruthlessly killed by a psycho killer. Mahesh decides to resign for failing to protect them but his father motivates him to take up this as a challenge and find out the killer.

He then traces out the villain and goes to his village to find out more details about him. The story moves to Sudalai (SJ Surya)'s childhood. As his father works in the graveyard, he grows up listening to the rants of people and slowly he develops as a psycho who finds happiness in people's tears. He would go to an extent to kill people to find his happiness.

After coming back, Mahesh catches Sudalai's brother Bharath and he throws him off a flyover in front of thousands of people and Sudalai himself. The rest of the story is a cat and mouse game between the both and how Mahesh puts an end to him forms the rest of the story.
