Soorma

Soorma is a biographical sports drama movie based on the life of international hockey legend Sandeep Singh, who won Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2009 defeating Malaysia, despite his major accident which paralyzed him waist down three years ago. The movie stars Diljit Dosanjh playing the titular role of Sandeep, Angad Bedi portraying the character of Sandeep's brother Bikramjeet Singh and Taapsee Pannu playing the love interest of Sandeep.

The film has been written and directed by Shaad Ali of Bunty Aur Babli and Kill Dill fame. Also starring Siddharth Shukla, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Pitobash and Vijay Raaz, this movie has been produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions, Chitrangda Singh and Deepak Singh.
