Kangana Ranaut, who is already one of the leading ladies in Bollywood gives one of her best performances despite a weak script. Her portrayal of a gambling addict who robs banks to support her lifestyle feels natural and real. Soham Shah, who plays the love interest in the film also does the best he could with the little screen time he has.

Verdict: 'Simran' is a fun film that captures the audience in its first half but falls when it reaches its second half. The story gets boring and deviates from the plot. The performances by the actors are commendable but they cannot help the weak script.
