Shivaay is a skilled mountaineer whose livelihood depends on providing treks and climbing expeditions to tourists. One day Shivaay meets Olga, a tourist. He saves her from an avalanche and the duo eventually falls in love. Later, Olga becomes pregnant and Shivaay convinces her to give birth to their child as he will look after the child if she doesn't want to. Nine years are passed and now Shivaay is leading a happy life with her mute daughter Gaura. One day, Gaura discovered that her mother is alive and well and is living in Bulgaria. Guara pleads Shivaay to meet Olga to which Shivaay agrees.
Upon reaching to Bulgaria, Shivaay saves a young child from the child traffickers. Shivaay takes the help of Indian embassy in locating Olga and is assigned to Anushka. Outraged by the Shivaay's act of saving that child, the traffickers then come after Shivaay and kidnap Gaura. Shivaay tries to stop them but is not able to do so. Seeing the damage Shivaay caused in the city, the Bulgarian police arrest him. Shivaay somehow manages to escape them. Olga watches this whole incident on the television and meets Shivaay and joins him in searching for their daughter. How Shivaay saves his daughter from the flesh traders forms the rest of the story.
Shivaay opened to positive reviews from the audience as well as from the critics. What intrigued the audience more was the spectacular scenery used in this family entertainer and the breathtaking action sequences. Shivaay collected 1.46 billion at the box office and was made on a budget of 1.03 billion.
