Sathya Story

Cast: Jayaram as Sathya Subramaniam, Roma as Rosy, Parvathy Nambiar as Milan, Rohini as Doctor, Rudranil Gosh as Rudhro

Sathya, a Tamizh brahmin, is a dare of the sorts and an expert rummy player. He finds Rosy in a bar and by paying a handsome price, take her away to Goa along with a friend of his. Rosy is not interested in Sathya and his friend. The way ahead is not easy for them as there is a gang on the lookout for Rosy. And soon the trip becomes a dangerous cat and mouse chase. 

Jayaram, who essayed the titular role, pulled down a few kgs to essay his character. He also sported new salt and pepper look for the film. The film also marked the  Malayalam comeback of Notebook actress Roma. However, Sathya turned to be big box office dud. The film was severely criticised for its horrendous making and being pretentious.
