Meanwhile, Sardar Gabbar Singh is transferred to Ratanpur. He goes there and plays with some of the villagers and the police force in order to learn the situation. Gabbar also comes to see the princess and falls in love with him. But like a good cine cop, he doesn't neglect his line of duty. But after a while, it is revealed that it was to confront and keep Bhairav Singh in line that Sardar Gabbar Singh is transferred to Ratanpur.
Sardar starts fighting Bhairav Singh and his henchmen singlehandedly and tries to keep them in order and protect the people. But things don't go the same way and Sardar Gabbar Singh's powers are apparently cut by the authorities. How and in what way Sardar Gabbar Singh solves all this and come out victorious and marry Arshi and end Bhairav's rule in Ratanpur form the crux of the story.
