Saptagiri LLB Review & Rating|
Sapthagiri LLB starring Sapthagiri and Kashish Vohra in the lead roles has created a lot of buzz in Tollywood circles with aggressive promotions and marketing strategies. The movie has hit the screens today. Will it give Sapthagiri the much-needed hit? Let's find out. Sapthagiri is a small time Lawyer who aims high and wants to become a famous Lawyer. In the process, he comes across Sai Kumar who is one of the most popular Lawyers of Hyderabad. What does Sapthagiri do to overcome the challenges he faces from Sai Kumar and others forms the rest of the story.
Coming to performances, Sapthgiri has improved a lot as an actor and he delivers a praiseworthy performance in the second half of the film. He does a superb job in the emotional scenes and was at his natural best in comedy scenes. This is by far the best performance from him as an actor and shows the untapped dimension in him Sai Kumar brings in a lot of seriousness to the film and does complete justice to his role. Shakalaka Shankar is okay and brings in few laughs here and there. Kashish Vohra has nothing much to do other than appearing in a few songs.
The music of the film was okay and so was the background score by Vijay Bulganin. The editing is fine and the art direction department did a great job with the sets. The production values are high and the film looks quite lavish, thanks to good camerawork from Sarangam SR. Director Charan did an average job as he couldn't handle a superb script like Jolly LLB in the best way possible. He adds unnecessary comedy scenes and songs. He dealt the emotional scenes and courtroom scenes in the second half perfectly. Had he taken extra care during the first half, things would've been better.
Verdict: Decent commercial entertainer with a message

What is it about?
‘Saptagiri LLB’ is a remake of the hit Bollywood black comedy ‘Jolly LLB’ which starred Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in the lead roles. This Telugu film stars comedian turned actor Saptagiri and Kashish Vohra in the lead roles and is a satire about a high profile hit-and-run case and a lawyer named Saptagiri who tries to get justice.
What to expect?
- Commercial Entertainer With A Message
Just like its Bollywood counterpart, ‘Saptagiri LLB’ provides a social commentary on the justice system of India and how easy it is for the rich to get away with things while the poor have to wait for a very long time for justice. The film manages to do this while also providing humor.
- Intense Courtroom Drama
As the film is based on the judiciary system and the lead character is a lawyer, the film will definitely have some high courtroom drama with heated arguments in them.
- Good Dose Of Comedy
Even though the film is based on a serious issue, the film manages to make fun of all the problems people have to go through in the legal department and also about the lives of lawyers in India.
