Ramante Edanthottam is director Ranjith Sankar's first movie in the romance genre. This movie features Kunchacko Boban as the lead character of Raman. Ramante Edenthottam has Anu Sithara as the female lead, which is also her first movie as the solo heroine. 

Ranjith Sankar has scripted the film while the musical scores are by Bijibal. Ramante Edanthottam is the journey through the discovery of love in the life of two adult individuals and the movie progress over a span of few years and talks about the depth of the romantic relationship between Raman and Malini. Raman is the owner of a farm and Malini meets him, while she comes on a vacation to his farm house. The two fall in love but continues to focus on their life goals and the story follows this path and shows how the two help each other to achieve their dreams.
