Dileep has done a quite a remarkable performance in the movie. While there is dilemma over whether or not to call the 'Ramaleela' a comeback movie for Dileep, it is indeed a comeback movie for Radhika Sharathkumar who has outshine her co-actors in most of the scenes. The rest of the cast has done justice to their respective roles while Prayaga Martin, the leading lady of the movie, has been successful in leaving a mark even in her minimal role.

Arun Gopy has made a grand debut by delivering a decent a political thriller. The movie, although resonate with earlier movies of Sachy and lacks originality at many points, it keeps the viewer hooked to the story till the end. Music by Gopi Sunder and cinematography by Shaji Kumar have added positively to the overall watching experience of the movie.

What Is It About?

Ramaleela, directed by debutante Arun Gopi is a political thriller starring Janapriyanayakan Dileep in the titular role. Prayaga Martin plays the leading lady in the movie which also has Renji Panicker, Lena, Radhika Sharathkumar, Siddique, Mukesh, Sai Kumar, Kalabhavan Shajon and Salim Kumar in prominent roles.

The movie is a tale about an ordinary man who one day becomes an MLA and find himself in the dirty abyss of politics. Written by Sachy, 'Ramaleela' is produced by Tommichan Mulakuppadam under Mulakuppadam Films banner.

What To Expect?

  • Dileep's performance

The movie was expected to give a boost to the Janapriyanayakan image of Dileep which was on a low. But unfortunately, his arrest and the recent developments in connection with the infamous actress assault case has canceled the merest of the possibility of a comeback for Dileep. In fact, makers are worried that current scenario will affect the movie in theaters. But however, it is evident that Dileep has delivered a remarkable performance as Ramanunni.

  • A Mass Political Thriller

Going by the teasers and the posters of the movie, 'Ramaleela' is indeed a political thriller. The movie seems like a mass political thriller and could have been a box office hit. Now the plight of the movie largely depends on the audience response to the film in the initial few days. 'Ramaleela' being a boost to Dileep's career is out of the question. But will it mark the entry of another promising director to Mollywood?

  • A Strong Supporting Cast

The prsence of versitile actors like Siddique, Ranji Panicker, Mukesh, Sai Kumar, Sreenivasan, Radhika Sharathkumar and many others in the cast looks promising. The movie seems to have not just well sketched character but also potential actors in the cast.
