Raag Desh is filled with numbers, facts, and dates, and concentrates on the side characters and family members of the main characters. Even though the acting performances are being praised, the film could have used some better editing and the way the director chose to tell the story could have been changed.

About the film

Raag Desh is a film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia who recreates the pre- Independence India ruled by the British. The film tells the story of three soldiers of the Indian National Army who are up on trial for treason against the British Indian Army while their lawyer tries to free them of these accusations. Tigmanshu Dhulia and his research team try to recreate the period and to maintain authenticity. The film stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Mohit Marwah as the soldiers on trial and Kenneth Desai as their lawyer.
