RK Nagar directed by Saravana Rajan, a former associate of Venkat Prabhu stars Vaibhav in the lead and he pairs opposite 'Chennai 28 II' fame Sana Althaf.

Rumors suggested that the film will be a serious political entertainer which were thrashed away by the team and they said that the film has four different narratives and has a lot of fun moments. The crew has Premji Amaran for music, S Venkatesh is director of photography, Praveen KL for editing, the art direction is handled by Videsh and Vasuki Bhaskar designs the costume for the cast members. Notedly, RK Nagar is the constituency of late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. The film is produced by Venkat's Black Ticket Company in association with Badri Kasthuri.
