Rani Mehra is an under-confident young Punjabi woman who hails from Delhi. Rani is supposed to marry Vijay but one day prior to the wedding, Vijay calls off the marriage saying that his lifestyle has changed after living in abroad and Rani's conservative values are a misfit in his new lifestyle. Heartbroken Rani locks herself up in her room for a day. Next day Rani decides to go on their planned honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam alone. Rani then embarks on a journey to foreign land, Paris all alone and meets Vijyalakshmi, a carefree, free-spirited woman if French-Spanish-Indian descent. Soon, they become friends and takes on a series of Adventure in the city.
In flashbacks, Rani recalls how Vijay used to scold and forbid her from doing things. Rani then boards a train to her next destination Amsterdam and learns that she has to share her hostel room with three different men. Despite being sceptical of the boys, Rani befriends them and spends time shopping, sightseeing, and she even takes part in a cooking competition to win it. Vijay in search of Rani lands in Amsterdam and convinces her to marry him. What happens next is the thing to watch.
