Paramu has a story that revolves around the present generation youngsters who don't follow their parents' advice. The film features Ranjith, Chithra, Sandhya, and Karthick in prominent roles. Story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction has been handled by N Maanikavelu who has also played the title role. Music is composed by Govindraj and the film is bankrolled by Lingu under Sussessful Productions banner.
