Padaiveeran

Padai Veeran is a village drama directed by Dhana which features iconic filmmaker Bharathiraja and Vijay Yesudas in the lead. Mathivaanan has bankrolled this venture under the Evoke banner and it has music by Karthik Raja. Hero Dhanush rendered his voice for Local Sarakka Foreign Sarakka song.

The film tells the story of a village good for nothing guy who eventually becomes a cop and things are all good at first but then the story takes a dark and sudden turn. Directed by Dhana, the film is set in the rural backdrop and is set to release on 2nd February while the trailer was launched on January 31st 2018. The film is Vijay Yesudas's first film as the lead character and has been awaiting its release for quite a while now.
