Sreekuttan is a polio victim with a slightly underdeveloped left leg. He, along with his friend Bhavyan who never looks down on him, works in a workshop. He has an ailing father who needs a heart surgery and a younger sister. Life goes well for Sreekuttan till a new police officer takes charge at the village and picks up a fight with him on the very first day itself. The police officer finally gets a chance to trap him and how Sreekuttan and Bhavyan take their revenge form Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha.
Director Shafi indeed deserves an applause for trusting Bibin George with the role of Sreekuttan. The actor in his real life is a polio victim, very much like his character. But, like any other hero, he dances his way along, fights the villains and even romances a girl. It should be said that Bibin makes an impressive entry breaking the stereotypes of Malayali's hero notions. Backing him up in performances is Hareesh Kanaran. The duo shares an impressive chemistry and it is indeed a treat to watch.
Other including Prayaga Martin who appears as Srekuttan's love interest Shruthi, Kalabhavabhavan Shajohn who plays the police officer, Vijayaraghavan and Indrans who plays Shruthi's and Sreekuttan's father respectively have delivered a convincing performance. Surprisingly, Shafi has completely let go of little misogynous jokes has done his best to provide the viewer some hearty laughs. Music by Arun Raj and background score by Bijibal play a major role in keeping the entertainment element of the film alive.
Final Verdict: Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha is a full-on entertainer filled with fun, laughter, love, and suspense. A sure one-time watch.

What Is Pazhaya Bomb Katha About?
Shafi's Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha narrates the tale of Sreekuttan, a physically challenged young man who is the sole breadwinner of his family. His jovial life comes to an end when he falls in love with Shruthi and in an unexpected twist of fate, Srekuttan is forced to face some terrifying odds. Bibin George stars in the lead role while Hareesh Peradi, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Prayaga Martin and Bijukuttan appear in other important roles.
What To Expect From Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha?
Shafi's Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha marks the entry of another newbie to the league of Mollywood actors. Bibin George, who is already a familiar face as the co-writer of hit movies Amar Akbar Antony and Kattappanayile Rithwick Roshan is stepping in front of the camera as the lead actor of the film. And for once, a central character who is differently abled is actually donned by an actor who fits the bill. A laudable movie from the director indeed. Let's hope that Bibin who made his writing venture successful will make his acting venture a remarkable one.
Looks like, Shafi who has always presented the audience with frolicking entertainers such as Mayaavi, Marykondoru Kunjaadu, and Two Countries, come up with another full-on comedy caper with some serious twists and suspense. The presence of actors like Hareesh Kanaran, Indrans, Vijayaraghavan, Bijukuttan and Sunil Sukhada underlines that there would be enough room for some serious, rib-tickling laughter. However, we earnestly hope that this wouldn't be another Sherlock Toms which nearly tested the one's audience offering a laugh here and there.
The technical crew of Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha comprises cinematographer Vinod Illampally, editor V Saajan, music directors Arun Raj and Bijibal Manayil, and art director Dileep Nath. It is a promising team of craftsmen who has earlier done notable works in different films. In a nutshell, one can look out to a decent fun entertainer from Shafi this time.
