Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren Critic Reviews
Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren User Reviews
Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Karthik starrer Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren by P Arumugakumar surprises you by showing both the world’s that of a tribal and city. Vijay fits the role of Yaman and generates a few laughs but it’s the comic timing of Gautham Karthik that surprises everyone. Niharika is a welcome change as the young bubbly girl and may take a while before she receives a few Tamil offers. As a debutant director, P Arumugakumar tries hard to be funny but relies more on his characters. Some dialogues remind you of earlier comedy films but Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren is just about ok and can be watched if you don’t have anything better to do.
Vijay Sethupathi’s Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren is out in the theaters today which is touted to be an adventure comedy directed by debutant P Arumugakumar that also stars Gautham Karthik, Niharika Konidela (niece of Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi), Gayathrie and Ramesh Thilak. Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren reviews are pouring in and let’s find out how people are reacting to it.
Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren is being called a whacky black comedy film where debutant P Arumugakumar has left no stone uncovered and has got total command over the proceedings with no commercial compromise from the director as well as some gutsy attempt by Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Karthik who impress the audiences with their performances.
The rib-tickling comedy is set against the backdrop of a tribal village in the forest as well as in a city while Vijay Sethupathi’s eight different avatars including the tribal group chief are coming in for a lot of praise, especially his 4-minute dialogue gets a rousing response. The one-liners from Danny keeps the audiences in splits. The humanity angle and storyline too is being liked.
Rumours of Vijay Sethupathi not having a big role in the film is all rubbish as he keeps the movie alive and kicking. Vijay’s on-screen chemistry with Gautham Karthik too is being appreciated which makes the movie enjoyable. The first half is a laugh-riot which spends time in setting up the premise while the second half also punches in a lot of humour. Niharika Konidela and Gayathrie don’t have much to do but are somewhat ok in their roles.
Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren is a quirky and a total fun ride with the entire cast as the unique screenplay making it a Vijay Sethupathy and Gautham karthick show all the way Justin Prabhakaran music is good while Yae Elumba Enni Enni song strikes a chord with listeners.
If you’ve liked movies like Moodar Koodam, Jil Jung Juk.., then Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren might just be your cup of tea where the maker deserves a pat for handling a tricky genre as his film which has got some clean humour!
