NTR - Kathanayakudu

NTR Kathanayakudu is a Telugu language biographical drama film directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. It is based on the legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The story is written by L. Srinath and dialogues are written by Sai Madhav Burra. The film features Balakrishna as NTR and Vidya Balan as NTR's wife Mrs. Basavatarakam. It is jointly produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, Vishnu Induri and M. R. V. Prasad under NBK films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and Vibri Media banner.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is portraying the role of Nandamuri Harikrishna. Rana Daggubati is playing the role of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Akkineni Sumanth is playing the role of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The other cast members are Nithya Menen as Savitri, Rakul Preet Singh as Sridevi, Kaikala Satyanarayana as H. M. Reddy, Prakash Raj as B. Nagi Reddy, Murali Sharma as Aluri Chakrapani, Naresh as B. A. Subba Rao, Ravi Kishan as Ravikant Nagaich, Jisshu Sengupta as L. V. Prasad, Bharath Reddy as Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, Himansee Chowdary as Daggubati Purandeswari, Heroshini Komali as Uma Maheshwari.

M. M. Keeravani is the music director of NTR Kathanayakudu. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry is the lyricist. K. S. Chithra and Sunitha lent their vocals for a song together for NTR.

V. S. Gnana Shekar is the director of photography of NTR Kathanayakudu. Arram Ramakrishna is the editor and Sahi Suresh is the art director of this film.

Incidentally, Balakrishna is portraying the role of his father NTR and Kalyan Ram is portraying the role of his father Harikrishna for this film. Vidya Balan is making her debut in Telugu with NTR Kathanayakudu.
