Nirbashito

Nirbashito directed by debutant director-actress Churni Ganguly is a story of isolation and hope, of a writer in exile. An allegorical tale, seen through the eyes of a woman, whose unnamed character is based on controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen and a cat named Baghini, whose character is based upon on Nasreen's cat Minu, The writer is banished for her attack on religious fundamentalism and patriarchy and her cat is suddenly left alone.
