Nibunan Review & Rating
'Nibunan' is definitely a way different from all the previous action films of Arjun. It is an engaging thriller with innumerable suspense elements, mystery, family sentiments and much more. The basic story is about how an investigative officer, along with his team of two, catches a serial killer who as clever as police officers. The film keeps you hooked from the scene one and has edge-of-your-seat moments until the end.
'Nibunan' is a genuine attempt which is nearly perfect with ample thrilling elements. Except for minor flaws here and there, the film keeps you engaged throughout. Few scenes don't seem convincing where the family sentiment is involved. It looks like the director has given too much importance to Arjun's character and couldn't use Varalaxmi and Prasanna to the fullest.
Arjun's 150th film 'Nibunan' is a smartly written gripping thriller. Chasing after a serial killer as the central theme, the film has a handful of good moments. Arjun as an investigative police officer shines in the film while Varalaxmi seems like a misfit in the role of a woman cop. Prasanna does a decent job as one of the key members of the investigative team.
