The Great Father is a Malayalam family thriller directed by debutant Haneef Adeni. The flick has Mammootty in the lead role of David Nainan. TGF also brings back Sneha as the female lead to the megastar. Tamil star Arya plays the main antagonist in the film. TGF speaks about David Nainan and family. David is an influential builder and when something bad happens to his family, he takes it upon himself to avenge it. The movie is bankrolled by August Cinemas.
