Shiva, Played by Raghava Lawrence, is a corrupt cop, allowing his subordinates and the local criminals a free hand while supporting the antagonist GK Raja, played by Ashutosh Rana, to oppose police commissioner Kirubakaran IPS, Played by Satya Raj. But after a mute girl is raped and murdered, who Shiva treats her like his sister, changes his heart and join hands with police commissioner Kirubakaran IPS and starts hunting Raja's henchmen.
Why Shiva hates Kirubakaran in the first place, what is the relationship between Shiva and Kirubakaran and how they together fight GK and his mafia is what the rest of the movie is all about. Nikki Galrani played Lawrence's love interest in a television reporter role. Lawrence excels in stylish moves in the dance sequences, fights with his usual grace and pulls off the role of a cop decently with his attitude. There’s a distinct style in the way he performs, even in the simplest of the scenes.
Director Sai Ramani has made an action-packed mass entertainer concentrating mostly on the screenplay. Right from the hero introduction scene to almost the entire film follows the mainstream masala entertainer pattern. The audience will enjoy Lawrence's dialogue delivery style. This is a remake of the Telugu film Pataas.
