Directed by Satrajit Sen, 'Michael' is a Bengali film that revolves around a person working man who dreams to be a film director. Mir has been roped in to play the titular role. Swastika Mukherjee is to play Mir's wife in the movie. Soumitra Chatterjee will be seen playing superstar Mayurbahan Chatterjee in the movie revolving around an aspiring filmmaker named Michael and the difficulties he faces in his journey. The film stars Tonushree in the role of a producer who finances Michael's film to be an actress and Arunima Ghosh plays a police officer. It's a light-hearted rom-com that showcases serious issues in a comic tone.
