Margarita With A Straw

Earlier titled as ‘Choone Chali Aasman’, the story revolves around Laila (Kalki Koechelin) who is confined to a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. She is an aspiring writer cum lyricist who is also a part of the university band. She gets admitted into the New York University and shifts with her mother (Revathy) to Manhattan where she meets a young fiery activist Khanum (Sayani Gupta) and falls in love with her. What follows thereafter is her struggle with her life and her family and the journey of sexual discovery.
