Major, is the film based on the life story of real-life hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who martyred in action during the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. Adivi Sesh is portraying the role of Sandeep in the film. Sashi Kiran Tikka of Goodachari fame is helming the film which is being made as a Telugu-Hindi bilingual. Mahesh Babu is bankrolling the film under his home banner G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd in association with A+S Movies banner. Sony Pictures is presentng the film internationally.
