The first song from Mahanati, Mooga Manasulu has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Anurag Kulkarni. This is the thematic song of the movie which depicts the glory of the great actress and the subject of the movie, Savitri. The lyrics for this song are written by Ramajogayya Sastry. The second song of the album is Aagipo Baalyama is penned by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry. This nostalgic number is sung by Ramya Behara. Sirivennela's lyrics bring great depth to this song. 

The third song of the album is Mooga Manasulu. The song has grand arrangements with French horns, strings, and feisty trumpets. Shreya Ghoshal and Anurag Kulkarni combination shines once again. The lyrics for this melody are penned by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry. Sada Nannu depicts the pristine feelings of love by the singer Charulatha mani and the entire arrangement. The usage of veena gives it an earthy feel to this song. The song features Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan. 

The fifth song of the album is Chivaraku Migiledi. This tragic song penned by Sirivennela is sung by Sunitha. Mickey J Meyer interestingly composed this in western harmonic minor scale to evoke the feeling of sadness and melancholy. The final song of the album Gelupu Leni Samaram is penned by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry which culminates the entire life of Savitri played by Keerthy Suresh. It is sung by Ramya Behara.
