Maayavan Story

Maayavan stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role and he plays Inspector Kumaran, who is an honest cop. One day while chasing a petty thief he comes across a murder. While he starts chasing the murderer he dies in an accident and Kumaran faces some psychological problems. He meets psychologist Aadhirai (Lavanya Tripathi), who helps him in recovering and getting back to the job.

Once he resumes his work, he comes across similar murders all over the city. But the murdered died long ago. So, Kumaran starts investigating the case and suspects Rudhran, a motivational speaker. Though Kumaran tries his best to trap Rudhran, he doesn't get a chance. But one day, he finally gets hold of Rudhran but he reveals some shocking truths which are beyond one's imagination. Rudhran dies after that incident but it is not going to put an end to the murders, he warns. How Kumaran prevents the murders which the villain is going to commit forms the rest of the story.

Maayavan is an interesting crime thriller with a slight touch of sci-fi. The film received positive reviews and emerged as a decent hit at the box office.
