Karuppan

Karuppan is a rural drama written and directed by R Panneerselvam. The film features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead along with Bobby Simha and Tanya in prominent roles. The story is based on jallikattu and it was shot in and around Theni and Dindigul. The complete budget of the movie is around 20 crores.

The film's crew has D Imman for music, Sakthivel for cinematography, while Vijayan has handled the cuts. AM Rathnam and S Aishwarya of Shri Sai Raam Creations banner have bankrolled this project. Kishore, Pasupathy, Singampuli, Renuga, Kaveri, and Sharath Lohitashwa play supporting roles. 'Karuppan' is slated to release on September 29th, 2017 for the Pooja Weekend. Sri Suriya Movies releases the movie across Tamil Nadu.
