Rajat Ravishankar is making his directorial debut with tentatively titled Karthi 17, which is presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Prince Pictures S Lakshman of Singam 2 and Trisha starrer Mohini fame. The movie features Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles and Other main star casts include Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, R.J. Vignesh, Amrutha, Renuka. Navarasa Nayagan Karthik makes a special guest appearance. Harris Jayaraj is composing music for this film, which has cinematography by Velraj. Karthi 17 will be a high octane action adventure and is planned for Aayutha Pooja festival release.
