Karinthantan

Karinthantan is a Malayalam period drama movie about a Wayanadan tribal chief who lived between 1700-17500 AD. The film stars Vinayakan in the titular role. Noted woman documentary filmmaker Leela Santhosh is helming Karinthantan. This is her first feature film and interestingly, Leela is part of the community she has set out to make the film about. Rajeev Ravi's Collective Phase One, the banner which has brought out a bevy of critically acclaimed films such as I.D, Njan Steve Lopez, Kammattipaadam, and Eeda, are bankrolling the movie.
