Kalakalappu 2

Kalakalappu 2 is the sequel to 'Kalakalappu' which released in 2012. The film directed by Sundar C did a good business at the box-office. The second installment in the franchise was announced by Khushbu Sundar in September 2017 with the lead cast that includes Jai, Jiiva, Shiva, Nikki Galrani, and Catherine Tresa.

Hip-hop Thamizha Adhi will be taking care of the music department. Major portions of the movie will be shot in Kasi, Pune, Hyderabad, and Karaikudi. Siddharth, Hansika Motwani, and Nandita Swetha will be seen in special appearance roles.  Actress Vaiyapuri joined the cast during the first schedule after Sundar C was impressed with Vaiyapuri's performance on the Tamil version of the reality show Bigg Boss.
