Kaatrin Mozhi

Kaatrin Mozhi is the Tamil remake of super hit Bollywood movie Tumhari Sulu that featured Vidya Balan in the title role. Jyothika plays the title character in Kaatrin Mozhi helmed by Radha Mohan who had previously directed Jyothika in Mozhi. Jyothika plays a middle-class housewife who becomes a radio jockey hosting late-night show at a popular FM station. Vidharth and Lakshmi Manchu are on board for Kaatrin Mozhi essaying Jyothika’s husband and mentor respectively. Produced by G Dhananjayan under the banner BOFTA Media Works, this woman-centred family drama has dialogues penned by Pon Parthibhan and Praveen KL looks after the edits and effects. Mahesh Muthusamy heads the cinematography of Kaatrin Mozhi and AR Rahman's nephew AH Kaashif has been roped in to score music for the lyrics written by Madhan Karky.
