Directed by Deepak Shivdasani, 'Julie 2' is the second series in the 2004 erotic 'Julie' franchise. Raai Laxmi plays the bold, beautiful and blessed role in the film which was earlier played by Neha Dhupia. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Raai Laxmi who plays the titular role. The story revolves around a simple girl Julie (Raai Laxmi) who wants to become a big actress of the silver screen. She becomes a big star in films but her stardom gets exposed by the darker side of the entertainment industry where one has to pay a price for it. How she gets exploited by the industry men and how they use her for their selfish means forms the crux of this erotic thriller. The film is produced by Deepak Shivdasani, Vijay Nair and Pahlaj Nihalani whereas music is by Viju Shah and cinematography is by Sameer Reddy.
