Jomer Raja Dilo Bor is a one of a kind comedy that takes inspiration from the mythological story of Sabitri and Satyaban and gave it a modern and hilarious twist. The story revolves around an author named Ria Bannerjee (Payel) who hates men from the bottom of her heart. According to her, the men don’t possess a heart or a soul. For the same reasons, she doesn’t want to get married and want to live independently. However, as fate would have it, she comes across her Mr. Right called Deb Das (Abir Chatterjee) and fell for him instantly.

They have a perfect marriage and finally Riya is happy with her husband. But, destiny has other plans for her. On the first morning after her marriage to Dev, Ria finds her husband Deb dead. Strangely, she soon finds her way to Yamlok. Soon, she reached the Yamlok and faced Yamraj and charged him fearlessly to get her husband back from the God of death Himself! Yamraj gave Ria an amazing boon but his boon changes her and Deb’s life forever! However, Ria and Deb found their much-deserved happily ever after at the end. The movie is a one of a kind comedy that takes inspiration from the mythological story of Sabitri and Satyaban and gave it a modern and hilarious twist.
