Power starrig Jeet revolves around a man who was the look-alike of a deceased police officer, is eager to join the police. The story starts with ACP Bir Pratap Chowdhury, a corrupt yet brave police officer working as an Assistant Commissioner of police in Kolkata. He loses his life while saving a gangster named Ramkrishna Ganguly (Rajatava Dutta). 

Meanwhile someplace else, Jeetu, a lookalike of Bir Pratap, a happy go lucky young man appeared on the screen. He desires to be a police officer and would often step into his brother-in-law police officer Bhojon Ghosh (Kharaj Mukherjee)'s shoes to live his dream. However, his dream seems to be a distant one so, he approaches Anjali (Sayantika), who sells stones which she claims change people's fate. However, she is a fraud in reality. 

Jeetu gets discovered by the officers from Kolkata who approach them to take place of ACP Bir Pratap Chowdhury. He gets posted to Kolkata and soon he realizes lots of dangers are lurking there. The unknown truths about Bir and many others start to emerge gradually.
