Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu is a horror comedy written and directed by Harahara Mahadevaki fame Santhosh Jayakumar. During the promotions of Harahara Mahadevaki, he said that his next movie will also have Gautham Karthik in the lead role.

Gautham Karthik has been roped in by the makers of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu and Vaibhavi Shandilya of Sakka Podu Podu Raja fame has been brought in to play the female lead of the film.Yashika Anand, Chandrika Ravi, Motta Rajendran, and Karunakaran will be seen in important roles in the film. K.E. Gnanavel Raja is bankrolling this project under Studio Green banner. Balamurali Bala is composing the music of the film and GK Prasanna is taking care of the editing.
