Indrasena Review & Rating|
Banking on the past record of Vijay Antony and his market in Telugu states, the makers of Annadurai released the Telugu dubbed version Indrasena simultaneously. There's been a decent hype around the movie because of the interesting trailer and promotions, will the movie live up to the hype? Let's see. 'Indrasena' is about two brothers Indrasena and Rudrasena who are two identical twins. The movie starts off as a neat family drama and an incident takes place which pushes one of the brothers, Indrasena behind the bars. What is that incident, how Rudrasena solves that problem is the film all about.
Coming to performances, Vijay Anthony does his best in two different roles and gives a neat performance. Though he doesn't make a huge impact, he makes sure that he gives what is required for the script. He is good as Rudrasena as the role has got some scope for performance. Diana Champika is just okay in her role as she has nothing much to do. The supporting cast performed well in their roles.
The production values of Radhika Sarathkumar and team are praiseworthy as the film looks quite rich and lavish. Music by Vijay Anthony is just okay as none of the songs make an impact but the background score is good and elevates the film decently. Editing is just okay and so was the cinematography. Direction by G Srinivasan is pretty average as he fails to cash upon the successful brothers' sentiment formula rather he churns out a mediocre product.
Verdict: Half-baked brother sentiment drama.
Indrasena Critic Reviews
Indrasena User Reviews
Firstly, I had huge expectations on this film as it seemed to be a mass action entertainer with superb elevation scenes. I am disappointed after watching the film as it is neither a mass movie nor there are any elevation scenes. In bonus, I got some pathetic and boring sentimental scenes with very slow narration. The only positive thing I found is Vijay Anthony's honest attempt where he blindly trusted the director to make a good movie. Its hight Vijay should think of script selection as he is playing similar kind of roles where he is serious throughout the movie. Finally, Indrasena is an honest attempt from Vijay Anthony but it is not worth watching. Apart from few sentimental scenes and action sequences, nothing much impressed me.

As the morning shows started in the city, the audience and critics are expressing their opinions on the movie in social networking sites, take a look.
By the end of the day, the movie settled down with average reports. The interesting plot and action sequences are being praised by the audience. Dragged scenes and screenplay are being cited as the negatives in the film.
