Indrajith a Fantasy film which is set against the backdrop of treasure hunt failed to reach the expectations. Generally, Fantasy movies are treat to watch if they are set with a combination of an engaging screenplay, interesting narration, and top class action sequences. Though Indrajith is the fantasy film it failed to have the above-said combination.
Coming to performance Gautham Karthik was apt to the character, there is no much scope for the heroines. Sachin and Sudanshu did justice for their role. Though the plot of the movie was good it failed in managing with CG and poor writing. Their nothing much to talk about background score. The cinematography was good in some scenes. Final verdict better not to watch.
'Indrajith' impressed me with its trailer but it is not the same case with the movie. The basic plot is simple but what makes movies like these work in some 'wow' moments in the screenplay and some brilliant VFX work. Sadly, both these aspects are missing in this lackluster adventure film made with an average performing cast and crew.
Gautham Karthik manages to impress and he is the only reason one can give this film a shot. Apart from him, the beautiful locations captured by the cinematographer is the only thing which I liked about the film. Sonarika was okay and does what she was supposed to do. Apart from that, there is nothing much to write about this averagely executed adventure film.
Indrajith could have been a good watch for it had a decent star cast and director. An adventure flick comes after a long time in Tamil cinema which turns out to be an average fair. The adventure drama fizzes out with lackluster performances and screenplay. The heroines have nothing to do except look good which they do. Expectations were high after ‘Sakkarakatti’but Kalaprabhu’s direction loses steam. This kid stuff should’ve released 20 years ago.
Kalaprabhu’s ‘Indrajith’ starring Gautham Karthik, Ashrita Shetty and Sonarika Bhadoria is out in the theaters. The action-adventure flick based on a precious stone hunt with medicinal values is up for grabs and whoever gets to it first changes his/her fortune. Let’s find out the audience's reaction below who are just out of the theaters.
Seems like ‘Indrajith’ is receiving mixed reactions from the audiences. Some are appreciating the VFX and background score whereas some are calling it to have a weak screenplay. Let’s find out if Indrajith has hit the bullseye or not.
