Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania

Directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a rom-com flick which features Varun Dhawan as Humpty Sharma and Alia Bhatt as Kavya Pratap Singh in the lead roles. Kavya stays at Ambala who visits Delhi to buy an expensive designer bridal wear for herself as she is engaged to Angad (Siddharth Shukla). She meets Humpty at Delhi and both fall in love with each other. She returns back to Ambala for her marriage with Angad but Humpty follows her and meets Kavya’s father with a proposal to marry his daughter. Kavya’s father puts forth a condition to him that only if he can beat Angad in qualities he can marry his daughter. Humpty fails to beat Angad but wins over Kavya’s father and his family members.
