Half Girlfriend

Directed by Mohit Suri, ‘Half Girlfriend’ is a romantic drama movie, based on the Chetan Bhagat’s latest novel with the same title. Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor play the lead roles. Screenplay and dialogues are written by Ishita Moitra and Tushar Hiranandani, on Chetan Bhagat's story.

Set in Bihar, Delhi and New York, Half Girlfriend is about a boy who has less knowledge in English. In spite of his poor English, he gets admission in a renowned college of Delhi in the sports quota. There he comes across a beautiful girl, whom he wants to make her his girlfriend. But fate has something else in store for him and he gets parted away from her. Over a period of time, the boy forgets about the girl and gets engaged with his work when he meets her again. Whether he is able to make her his life partner forms the crux of the story.

Vishnu Rao is the DOP, while Deven Muradeshwar has done the cuts of the movie. Half Girlfriend is bankrolled by Chetan Bhagat, Ekta Kapoor, Mohit Suri and Shobha Kapoor under the banners of ALT Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures.
