Gurgaon is a film Directed by Shanker Raman, starring Pankaj Tripathi, Akshay Oberoi, and Ragini Khanna. The film is a peek into the dark side that humans sometimes turn to.The best part of the movie is its cinematography, Shanker Raman has been a cinematographer for a long time so it is not a surprise that his directorial debut is filled with amazing frames.Gurgaon is a technical masterpiece, except for its slow paced music.
The Actors of the film have done a brilliant job in portraying characters that are not what they seem. Pankaj Tripathi, who plays a rich, alcoholic businessman is perfect for this role as he is for any other role that he has played. More importantly, the film handles even the minute details with perfection, the way a family behaves, talks and thinks about each other.
Gurgaon is a film that captures the human nature to perfection. The performances by all the actors are genuine and feel real. Every scene makes the audience feel uneasy, yet more interested in the story. The Director is successful at what he wants to convey. The only thing stopping this film from being perfect is its slow music. Nevertheless, if you are a cinema fan, then this movie is definitely worth a watch.
