'Guptovuovuodhoner Sondhaney' is going to be a franchise film with three movies in the series. As the name suggests, it revolves around a treasure hunt. The will majorly deal with Bengal's history. History professor Subarna Sen returns home after teaching in the foreign land. As he takes a tour of an ancient building in Manikantapur which is at the outskirts of Kolkata, he comes across of a mystery that leads him into a thrilling treasure hunt. Abir Chatterjee has been roped into to play the lead Subarna Sen AKA Sonada while Arjun Chakraborty plays his companion cum assistant Abir! Ishaa Saha will be playing Jhinuk, a smart and intelligent girl, who helps Sona Da and Abir in their quest. Produced by SVF, the movie will be directed by debutant director Dhrubo Banerjee. Arindam Sil is going to present the new filmmaker. He will also play a pivotal role in this franchise. Director Goutam Ghose and Kamaleswar Mukherjee will be seen essaying two important characters in this flick.
