Generation Aami

Generation Aami, directed by Mainak Bhaumik is a Bengali movie revolving around a schoolboy Apu. It is about his dreams and aspirations that clash with his overprotective parent's expectations. The film is to focus on the crisis of the young generation. The film stars Rwitabrata in the lead role while his father Shantilal Mukherjee plays his reel-life father as well. Aparajita Adhya plays Rwitabrata's mother in this venture. Souraseni plays Apu's elder sister who is his only and biggest support system who inspires him to pursue his dream.
