Goutham Nanda Review & Rating

'Goutham Nanda' has an interesting point in its story, but it seems are colourless once you delve more into the movie. Two identical people, Goutham and Nanda (both played by Gopichand) one rich and the other poor, exchange their lives to live and feel what they lacked in their respective lives. The plot however looks interesting but should have been given a proper treatment. Sampath Nandi had a novel idea but lacked the vision to conclude his point in the movie.

Sampath Nandi's 'Goutham Nanda', the stylish entertainer that came with much expectations has the routine talk that is generated for any commercial film in Telugu. The famous television anchor Bithri Sathi made a cameo in the flick and his performance stands out in the movie as usual. Though Gopichand gave a power packed performance, he looks a bit over aged for the role he played. This movie is targeted very well to the galleries.

'Goutham Nanda' comes as the first movie where we see Gopichand in a dual role. Though the teasers and promos raised high expectations, the film had very little to offer. The movie has good technical values and has been made on a good budget. Gopichand tried his best to do justice to his role, but the poor writing lets lets him down. Apart from Soundar Rajan, who has done a terrific job, the movie couldn't impress much. Only the pre-climax and climax can save the movie from drowning.

Gautham Nanda is another perfectly blended commercial film for Gopichand with some awesome comedy and action stylish sequences. Climax and the twists make this movie a decent watch. Surely can say Sampath Nandi and Gopichand made their perfect come back in their own style.
