Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi received mixed to positive reviews. The humor, Tharun Bhascker's direction, and dialogues, and the performances with a special mention for Abhinav are praised as top-notch but the actual lack of plot and too much dependence on the treatment of the script are negatively viewed. The movie ended up as an above average venture at the box office and earned mild profits for the distributors.
