Arindam Sil's Eagoler Chokh is the second film in Shabor franchise. This time the film revolves around Bishan Roy, a sexually abused man. His character is sexually exploited from childhood, as a result, he has to deal with depression and mental complications. But the man has been involved with several women as his personality works like a magnet that attracts women towards him.
Jaya Ahsan plays his wife, who slips into a coma after being shot by the muggers. Paayel Sarkar, her friend, and business partner gets killed by the same criminals in their house. Apparently, it looked like an open and shut case of robbery, however, young office Indrajeet smells some mystery in it and seeks help from Inspector Shabor Dasgupta. The crime branch officer from Lalbazar Thana digs deeper and find the ugly and twisted history of Bishan and his family.
The more he gets involved in the case, the more shocking facts start to unveil. Shabor solves the case but the story goes beyond a who-done-it thriller as the root of all mystery gets unravelled. Shabor too goes through a personal crisis and recovers it with the help of his psychiatrist.
