Durga Sohay

Directed by Arindam Sil, Durga Sohay is a family drama that blooms in a traditional, wealthy Basak family in North Kolkata. In the movie, Deepankar Dey essays the most elderly person. Bratya Basu and Indrashish Roy play his sons who take care of the family business of gold jewelry. Sohini Sarkar plays Durga, a nurse, who joined to serve Dey's character but becomes a part of the family, eventually. But, when something went missing, Durga is accused of theft. Finally, on the night of Dashami, dacoits raid the house. Will Durga be able to prove her innocence and save the people of her employer's family?
