Chola

Chola marks the fifth directorial venture of Sanal Kumar Sasidharan who is known for the acclaimed Malayalam movies Oraalpokkam (2014), Ozhivudivasathe Kali (2015), S Durga (2017), and Unmaadhiyude Maranam (2017). The film which is touted to be a realistic suspense drama exploring power politics and feminine identity stars Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan and newbie Akhil Viswanath in the pivotal roles.

Sanal Kumar Sasidharan himself have scripted Chola jointly with novelist Manikandan. Shaji Mathew and Aruna Mathew produce the film which has Ajith Acharya as the director of the photography and Dileep Das as the art director.
