Based on Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's Amriter Mrityu, this story will Byomkesh solving an intricate case of missing illegal arms.  Mr. Bagchi (Arindam Sil) requests Byomkesh (Abir) and Ajit (Ritwick) to investigate the whereabouts of missing arms. These are deadly weapons which were left by the U.S. soldiers after the 2nd World War. The investigation made them visit the Dooars. Satyabati (Sohini) accompanies the friend-duo. There they come to know about the sad death of a young man, Amrito followed by the explosion of Sadananda Sur's house. Amrito's friends request Byomkesh to see into the matter. According to them, Amrito saw a black horse in the jungle with a knight riding on it! What follows are some more shocking deaths and revelations.

Sadananda also dies in the process and Byomkesh realized he was connected with the arms dealing. But the suspense doesn't end here. Sadananda was carrying a suitcase with him which carries the answer to an important question. Who among the wealthy and influential men of Doors is the mastermind of the smuggling business? And where is he hiding all the weapons? Will Byomkesh be able to find the answers to the questions and unravel the mystery?
