After 'Har Har Byomkesh,' this is Arindam Sil's second film adaptation of Byomkesh Bakshi novel. Based on Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay's detective story 'Amriter Mrityu,' the film revolves around a mysterious murder that might lead to a dangerous circle of illegal exporting of weapons. In the backdrop of 40's Bengal, the movie brings back the legendary Byomkesh Bakshi and his friend Ajit to unfold the riddles utilizing his extraordinary observation and intelligence.
